It has been such a busy summer up into this point. Jenny and I moved from Los Angeles, back home to the central valley on July 19. We are now living and working back in the Heart of California in FresYES, Ca.
Jenny opened her new branch of the Quiksilver Family at the Fashion Fair mall right next to the Apple Store. Our new Quik family from the Northern California district came down to usher in Ohana Vibes upon all the new and fresh faces that were hired. I would say it was a complete success and great friendships were made.
Billy, Jenny’s new district manager, selected probably some of the best people at around his district to come and welcome us into the fold. While Jenny and I were not strangers to what being apart of the Quiksilver family means, it was still amazing to feel the warmth and love of an enormous company smothered around us.
Opening the store went surprisingly well. A lot of hard work was done by all; the store went from framing skeleton and zero merchandise, to a beautiful, fully stocked and successful outpost of the Quiksilver family in a little over one week!
Dewey Doan came up from Bolsa Chica and hammered home what Quiksilver means to this new little family and had both encouraging and heart felt words about Jenny and her work ethic.
The people in the Northern California district are so friendly and so gracious.
I didn’t expect to make so many instant friendships in just a few short days. I know Jenny and I can’t wait to get {further} up North to visit the Quik peeps and test all those couch crashing and hidden key offers. Hotel Paul will be getting some knocks on the door.
Enjoy some of the other snaps from
the nor cal Quik family visit here.
