Working on any one particular project can become creatively lonesome. I find myself bored and frustrated if I spend too much time on one project; after awhile I end up noodling in one corner of the piece or even worse began to think that the piece isn’t strong enough to survive and I began to revise and tear it apart.
Its like when you dish yourself too much ice cream and end up with a mushy stew of what used to be a beautiful treat and is now looking like your nephew’s finger painting from arts and crafts class at summer camp.
New; refreshing work often breaks the bleak streak of monotony. In the spirit of all this I have posted some new work and will be rejoining and
re-visiting some of my other projects that have been waiting for some much needed TLC.
Santa Claus comes only once a year but new work comes more often.
